Saving a recipe from a link

Paste a full https link, add a note, and review the draft.

Where this is in iWhisk

Capture, then Recipe source

The link must be complete, starting with http:// or https://. Add an optional note: the creator, the dish name, or what caught your eye. It stays with the recipe.

3.02.1

What works best

Public share links. A recipe page, or a cooking video from a platform that allows the link to be read.

3.02.2

When a site blocks it

iWhisk tells you, and offers a way through: paste the recipe text instead. Copy the ingredients and method from the page into the box and you get the same draft. It needs at least 40 characters, so roughly the ingredients and the method rather than just a title.

No link at all? Screenshot the recipe and use the photo route, or point your camera at a clear frame of the video.
