Long recipe over two pages

Photograph the readable part. If the method continues over the page, save what you have and add the rest by editing the recipe, or paste the remaining text.

Photographing a finished dish

This gives you a starting point rather than a transcription. It is the right move for something you ate somewhere and want to attempt. Add a note saying what it was and what stood out.

As captured, and the Cooper version

Every capture produces the recipe as captured, faithful to the source. You can also ask Chef Cooper for a version adapted to what is actually in your kitchen. That comes back as a separate version, and you choose which one to save. You are never overwriting a source you did not want to change.
